Today I wanted to share some AWESOME Teachers pay Teachers tips and tricks to help you get the very most from your purchases. These hacks will help you find what you are looking for faster, access resource updates, and get free credits to use towards more purchases!
Using these TpT hacks is a win-win for you to get MORE of what you need!

Hack #1: Filtering Search Results
After searching on the site, use the categories to filter your search results. Sometimes I forget about the categories.
Hack #2: Use Custom Categories
Have you ever used the "Custom Categories" link on the TpT store pages?
If you click on the "Custom Categories" links on the left side of the TpT store page, you will go directly to the resources you are looking for. All of my resources have been sorted into categories, so you don't have to search through hundreds of different resources to find what you are looking for!
Hack #3: Search Your Favorite Stores
We all have our favorite TpT authors! Don't forget that you can search their store directly.
Hack #4: Search You Favorite Stores
This could possibly be the TpT hack there is, because it involves getting stuff for free! Who doesn't love free stuff?
You can earn credits for free TpT products if you leave feedback on your purchases. Every time you leave feedback on a product you have purchased, TpT will give you free credits that you can use to buy even more stuff!
All you need to do is visit your "My Purchases" page and click on the black "Leave a Review" button to earn the free credits! As an added bonus, leaving feedback on purchases helps others find great products to use in their own classrooms!
Hack #5: Remember to Spend Your TpT Credits
Once you have TpT credits, don't forget to spend them! I like to save mine for sitewide sale days, so my savings goes even further.
Hack #6: Find Updated Resources
I update my products to make them bigger, better, and more helpful.
However, TpT does not send notifications when these updates take place. This can make it harder for YOU to know when resources have been updated.
Fortunately, there is a great hack to help you find out when products have been updated. Simply head over to your "My Purchases" page and click on the "Recently Updated" button. You will be able to see a big list of all the products you have purchased that have been updated!
Hack #7: Ask Questions!
Did you know you can ask teacher authors questions? If you're not sure how to use a resource or something in the description isn't clear, you can use the "Ask a Question" tab to ask! You should know that when you ask a question, it is completely anonymous and sellers do not receive your contact information. We can only reply by answering the question through TpT. If you want to be notified when we "answer", you MUST make sure that the box "Email me when the seller responds" is checked. Don't forget to check your email for the response!
